An Inside Look at Branding Experiences for the CLient's Perspective

From time to time, we like to take a break from talking about ourselves and instead, provide you an inside perspective from the client's side of the table. This month we take a look inside Classic Home Improvements of San Diego, CA. Nicole Gregory, Customer Service Manager at Classic Home Improvements was kind enough to give us her thoughts on working with Branding Experiences to create the initial branding of their new company.

Briefly discuss the state of your previous site prior to having it re-designed.

Classic Home Improvements did not have a logo or website prior to our introduction to Branding Experiences.

What was your greatest fear in choosing a branding/design company, and why?

We had already started working with one designer and found the lack of communication frustrating, not that we weren't talking, he wasn't listening. So our biggest fear was we would be working with someone who didn't understand what we were looking to accomplish.

What was your 2nd greatest fear in choosing a branding/design company, and why?

The second greatest fear was that our timeline would not be met because we were under a severe time crunch due to the delay with the previous designer that was recommended to us.

What made you ultimately decide to move forward with Branding Experiences?

Branding Experience took the time to listen and relay what we were asking for. In addition, we were given the opportunity to view a prototype to ensure we were speaking the same language.

During the prototyping phase, did you feel comfortable that Branding Experiences was picking up on the vibe you were going after with your branding?

During initial talks I felt like we were being listened to and Branding Experiences understood what we were trying to accomplish. Upon receipt of the prototype, there was no question we were on the same page.

Was there anything that you experienced, good and/or bad, during the site branding/design process that you were not expecting?

I was not expecting the communication we received, especially being under such a time crunch! I was relieved when, on day one, I received an email that detailed what would be accomplished and when, as well as being given a "to-do" list so I knew what I was responsible for to ensure the project went smoothly. I always knew what he needed from me and when he would be delivering information for us to review. There was never a question regarding what the next step was or when it would be accomplished.

What has been the overall response/reaction to your new branding from your target audience?

I have received nothing but positive reviews from day one. Some of our staff has been in our industry for decades and they were impressed by our site, which I believe says a lot. Hearing "wow, this is great!" as a first reaction when someone views the site is great!

Additional thoughts/comments not covered by the above questions:

I'm truly impressed by the professionalism, attention to detail, helpfulness, and creativity displayed while we were working with Branding Experiences!
